What are the changes to AnalysisPlus? The changes and improvements to the ConocoPhillips AnalysisPlus program are outlined below:
1. Consolidation of oil analysis service providers. The oil analysis service providers for the AnalysisPlus Premium Testing Services have been consolidated to POLARIS Labs and Staveley Services only. Analysts Inc, Oil Analysis Lab and Wear/Check will no longer be part of the AnalysisPlus program. Lab One continues as the sole provider for the Basic Testing Option.
2. Improved overall price structure There will be a significant reduction in pricing for the Premium Testing option as a result of service provider consolidation. This consolidation will provide exceptional value and our laboratory service providers remain committed to providing outstanding service. Below is a table showing the 2007 -2006 AnalysisPlus price comparison.

3. Upgraded in the test method offered in the basic test package. The Basic testing option will continue to be provided by Lab One Inc. in Phoenix, AZ. The testing methods have been upgraded to industry recognized ASTM testing methods as used by most other providers. Pricing will increase to help offset the cost of the testing upgrades. Lab results will now be available by email of fax in addition to being mailed.
4. Change in AnalysisPlus software service providers. Beginning January 1st 2007, Dingo Maintenance Systems will no longer be the software provider for AnalysisPlus. The web based software and the premium level management tools for fleet and analyses will now be provided by the oil analysis service providers (POLARIS and Staveley Services). We believe you will find these offerings similar to the past version of AnalysisPlus, with the additional advantages of remote and multiple user access. There will also be more management reporting options available for Marketers and their customers. AnalysisPlus is compatible with the most commonly used Condition Monitoring & Maintenance Software (CMMS) providers.
The current phone number (1-888-475-8763) for AnalysisPlus will be valid through the transition period (the next 3 months). It will be discontinued on March 31, 2007. The new direct phone numbers to are shown below:
Lab One Inc. (866-652-2663) POLARIS Laboratories (866-341-4396) Staveley Services (877-645-5221) 5. Enhance training opportunities. The Premium Testing option comes with online training opportunities throughout the year. These training sessions will help users of AnalysisPlus to understand and take advantage of this powerful oil analysis management tool. We will also schedule and host field training seminars during the year to help our Marketers and their customers further understand the benefits of AnalysisPlus as a maintenance tool.

What benefits will these changes bring to me?
Prior to current changes the AnalysisPlus program provided the largest network of laboratories for you to choose from along with a large selection of testing packages to suit any oil analysis need. This flexibility allowed you to have dependable oil sample results, to actively manage your equipment assets and to make decisions sooner for your maintenance program. This flexibility is still a feature of the program. Only now we have the additional benefits of consolidated lab services providers, a consolidation of the lab services and software reporting tools, a test method upgrade in the basic test package, enhanced training opportunities and increased value in the pricing structure.

Can I continue to ship oil samples through the US Postal Service?
Yes. However, as before with any combustible liquid, there may be special requirements that must be met. Per the USPS Hazardous Material Standards, the different restrictions are broken up by the liquid's flashpoint. The majority of samples that are sent in will have a flashpoint above 200°F (93°C). To ship combustible liquids within this class without restrictions, the liquid "must be properly and securely packaged to prevent leakage."
Another class, in which the samples may fall into, will be between 141°F (60.5°C) but no more than 200°F (93°C). To ship combustible liquids within this class has a few additional restrictions. 1. Ensure that the primary (clear) sample bottle is packaged securely within the outer mailing bottle. 2. Mark the mail piece on the address side with "ORM-D" or "ORM-D AIR," as applicable. This must be marked near the shipping name. 3. Mark all items being shipped via surface transportation with "Surface Mail Only," for air transportation, each mailing must clearly provide a shipper's declaration for dangerous goods. For a more detailed description, consult the United States Postal Service web site. The relevant section is 4.3 Combustible Liquid Mailability.
